R'fuah Sh'leimah
48 Songs of Healing and Wholeness
from the Comfort of Jewish Tradition
There is no other music collection like this.
Edited by Merri Lovinger Arian and published by Synagogue
2000, R'fuah Sh'leimah was compiled in
response to a growing need from synagogues of all
denominations, in response to all who yearn for the nearness
of God.
The 175-page volume of solos, simple chants, choral
arrangements and participatory folk music provides complete
vocal lines and either guitar chords or full piano scores.
Many of today's finest composers are represented
including Jeff Klepper, Debbie Friedman and Bonia Shur.
The five sections are introduced by personal notes from Rabbi
Lawrence A. Hoffman, Rabbi William Cutter, Rabbi Rachel
Cowan, Rabbi Simkha Weintraub, Debbie Friedman, Rabbi Shefa
Gold, and Cantor Scott Colbert
